LOS ANGELES The Los Angeles Dodgers have selected Interpublic Group’s Dailey & Associates to handle the team’s advertising account, sources said.

According to sources, Dodgers management had recently narrowed its contender list to three Los Angeles-area shops: independent The Cimarron Group, and IPG’s McCann Erickson and Dailey.

The National League baseball team had been actively searching for a new agency after agreeing to part ways with five-year incumbent, Santa Monica, Calif., independent WongDoody, at the end of the 2004 season.
