D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles aired its first TV commercial for client Gateway 2000 last week.





The spot, titled ‘Look Alike,’ highlights Intel’s processor, the Pentium II, which will be available in upcoming Gateway computer models.





In the spot, a man assembles a simple clay face and compares it to how each computer from Gateway is custom built for the end user.





The interim spot will air along with two ads created by Gateway’s previous agency, Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis, to fill Gateway’s immediate needs, according to DMB&B Los Angeles managing partner and chief creative officer John Armistead.





The agency is now working on a branding campaign for the North Sioux City, S.D.,
