Cunningham Moves Up at Connelly Partners

BOSTON Tom Cunningham has been promoted to director of new business development at independent shop Connelly Partners here. He had been a senior account executive.

Cunningham, 34, joined the shop in 2000 as a brand manager following a five-year stint at Interpublic Group’s Hill, Holliday, Connors, Cosmopulos in Boston, where he worked on accounts such as John Hancock Financial Services and Spalding Sports Worldwide.

This marks the second high-level appointment at Connelly Partners in recent weeks, following the agency’s hire of former Arnold staffer Richard Weinstein as media director.

Clients of Connelly Partners include Fallon Community Health Plan, Polaroid, Shaw’s Supermarkets and Stonyfield Farm.
