The Thompson Agency has been selected to handle advertiising for Security Service Federal Credit Union, a 45-year-old financial institution with more than 424,000 members.

Said Ken Thompson, president of the San Antonio ad agency, “My personal goal has been to have a financial institution as a part of our client mix.”

Thompson contacted the client earlier this year following the appointment of Jim Laffoon as the credit union’s executive vice president and chief information officer. Laffoon is responsible for overseeing all marketing efforts.
