TBWA/C/D’s Bennett, Williams Exit Shop for Lives Behind Lens
LOS ANGELES–Chuck Bennett and Clay Williams, the dynamic creative team behind Taco Bell’s talking chihuahua and the Energizer Bunny, are leaving TBWA/Chiat/Day to start new careers.
Bennett, 38, and Williams, 36, are exiting the Playa del Rey, Calif., agency after five years to become full-time commercial directors. They have formed a production company called Black Box, which will be based in Marina del Rey, Calif.
The pair have been directing spots for Energizer and Taco Bell for the past several months.
