CHICAGO Crate & Barrel has narrowed the search for an agency to handle its $5 million creative account to several shops, a company executive said.

The Northbrook, Ill., home furnishings chain expects to make a decision in the “next several weeks,” said Kathy Paddor, Crate & Barrel’s director of marketing.

The review does not include media buying and planning, which is handled internally, Paddor said.
