Burger King Corp. last week dismissed WPP’s Young & Rubicam and awarded the creative and media-planning portion of its $350 million account to Crispin Porter + Bogusky, the client said. BK CEO Brad Blum chose the MDC-owned Miami agency without a review, citing the shop’s nontraditional work on BMW’s Mini, Ikea and the American Legacy Foundation. CP+B is the fast-food chain’s fifth agency in four years. Media buying remains with WPP’s MindShare.
