To promote its newly introduced plant-based Bac’n Bap offer, coffee chain Costa Coffee has turned to celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay’s lookalike as it celebrates the art of imitation.

The fake cooking demonstration of the vegan bap, as presented by Martin Jordan doing a perfect imitation of the foul-mouthed Scottish chef from Hell’s Kitchen, began to run across TikTok, YouTube and Facebook at the beginning of September through the brand’s own social media platforms.

The release of the bap is part of Costa’s intention to “always look to challenge our alternative food offerings to provide as much choice for our customers as possible,” according to a spokesperson for the business.

The link with Ramsay and the brand goes beyond his cooking skills.
