Stu Cooperrider, a senior vice president and associate creative director at Arnold Communications, will leave the agency later this month.
Cooperrider, a copywriter who has worked on numerous award-winning campaigns for the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Tobacco Control Program, said he is leaving to “recharge my batteries, explore my options. I don’t have any plans immediately,” other than to freelance for various clients, including the Boston Herald. He has not, however, ruled out taking an agency post should the right opportunity arise, he said.
Cooperrider had been with Houston Herstek Favat for seven years before it was purchased by Boston-based Arnold earlier this year.
