DALLAS Cookie Bouquet, one of the country’s first specialty cookie retailers, has adopted a new identity and changed its name to Cookies by Design, the company said.

To accompany the name change, a new logo will be revealed through storewide signage, marketing collateral and packaging elements—all created by Michael Cory Design of Dallas. Michael A. Burns & Associates, also in Dallas, will provide public relations support.

The name change came as the result of wanting the 20-year-old brand to reach an unprecedented level of awareness among cookie connoisseurs and consumers, according to Linda Shunk, CEO of Cookies by Design.
