Cookie Bouquet Begets Cookies by Design

DALLAS Cookie Bouquet, one of the country’s first specialty cookie retailers, has adopted a new identity and changed its name to Cookies by Design, the company said.

To accompany the name change, a new logo will be revealed through storewide signage, marketing collateral and packaging elements—all created by Michael Cory Design of Dallas. Michael A. Burns & Associates, also in Dallas, will provide public relations support.

The name change came as the result of wanting the 20-year-old brand to reach an unprecedented level of awareness among cookie connoisseurs and consumers, according to Linda Shunk, CEO of Cookies by Design.

“Cookies by Design will continue to offer the same hand-decorated cookie arrangements, in addition to gourmet cookies and customized cookie creations,” Shunk said. “Going forward, we will expand our product line to offer a wider range of price points and creative gift-giving solutions.”

Shunk said the name transition of the company’s 250 stores is expected to be completed by the end of November.
