Begins Review In Preparation For 1999 Advertising Comeback
ATLANTA–Following two years of minimal advertising spending, Continental General Tires, the North American branch of Continental AG of Hanover, Germany, is gearing up for an expanded 1999 campaign and begun an agency search.
After expenditures of less than $250,000 in the past two years, per Competitive Media Reporting, the manufacturer and retailer of car and truck tires has projected an ad budget of $8.5-10 million, according to Al Johnson, advertising services manager at Continental.
