CondeNet Pacts With MSNBC.com

NEW YORK CondeNet has struck a deal with MSNBC.com to syndicate content from a variety of its signature Web brands, including Style.com, Men.Style.com, Epicurious.com, as well as select content from several Conde Nast magazines, ranging from Vogue to the recently launched Conde Nast Portfolio.

MSNBC.com said it would disperse the Conde Nast/CondeNet content throughout its health, business, entertainment and travel sections, as well as within its Today Show channel. CondeNet’s expertise in such lifestyle-focused editorial will complement MSNBC.com’s news prowess, said executives.

“Besides relying on us for news, our readers enjoy exploring MSNBC.com for everything from the best places to travel to the latest breakthroughs in diet and nutrition,” said Danny DeFreitas, deputy editor of sections at MSNBC.com. “With CondeNet on board, the pool of quality content on our site becomes even greater.”

Besides original Web fare, that pool of quality will expand to feature editorial content from a variety of premium magazines, including Glamour, Self, GQ, Details and Vanity Fair, among others.
