The eyes are said to be the windows to the soul, so young, fashion-conscious women are keenly aware of the image they’re projecting.
With that in mind, Los Angeles creative boutique The Press Cabinet is debuting a print ad for Stila Cosmetics’ new line of eye gloss products. The full-page ad retains the distinctive cartoon-glam appearance of previous Stila ads, only this time literally puts the characters inside the product. The headline, “Keep your eye on Stila,” refers not only to the new wild-colored glosses, but also to the hip L.A. cosmetics company’s reputation for product development.
“Their eye gloss is really an innovative new product,” said agency creative director Price Arana. “Its unusual translucent colors we think will be a big hit.”
The ad runs in March in Mademoiselle, Jane, Flaunt and Ocean Drive.
Separately, with prom season approaching, The Press Cabinet is breaking print ads for young woman’s fashion designer Zum Zum. The color-tinted ads are meant to lend an air of sophistication to the line of prom fashions, Arana said.
