Collins to Depart Ogilvy for Design Post at Apple Team Will Take On His ECD, Brand Integration Group Duties

Brian Collins, senior partner and executive creative director at Ogilvy & Mather, and head of the agency’s Brand Inte gration Group, is leaving to join Apple Computers.

Stepping in to replace him will be a four-person team that Collins assembled during the past three years: Judd Harner, senior partner and managing director; Michael Ian Kaye and David Israel, both associate creative directors; and Rebeca Mendez, creative director.

The team will report to Rick Boyko, shop co-president and chief creative officer.

“The idea that they will all become equal partners in the Brand Integration Group was postured by Brian,” Boyko said.
