LOS ANGELES-Cole & Weber here is one of four agencies joining forces to create a fourth WPP global network called Red Cell.

The U.S. agency, European-based Conquest, U.K.-based marketing communications group Perspectives and Asia-Pacific partner Batey will serve as hubs for their shared clients.

Bringing together more than 1,000 professionals, the network’s clients already include Alfa Romeo, Aventis, Nestle and Singapore Airlines. Combined billings were $1 billion last year.

Red Cell (www.redcellnetwork.com) hopes to distinguish itself by involving creative members from around the world to develop effective campaigns designed from the outset to reflect a global perspective.
