Was that a DVD screensaver or a commercial?

That was what many viewers were left wondering as Coinbase ran an ad that consisted simply of a colorful QR code that floated from one edge of the screen to the other. The image, when scanned, led to a link where viewers could sign up for the cryptocurrency exchange to redeem $15 worth of free bitcoin (about 0.00036 BTC). Accenture Interactive was the agency behind the ad.

“At Coinbase we have a goal of introducing a billion people to the cryptoeconomy,” Coinbase CMO Kate Rouch said in a statement.
