A CME Repeat Performance

The 27th annual Mobius Advertising Awards were presented last week in Chicago.
Campbell Mithun Esty, Minneapolis, took Best of Show honors in the print category for the second consecutive year, this time for ads for the Science Museum of Minnesota. Last year its print work for the American Academy of Dermatology wowed the judges.
This year’s Best of Show in the TV category was presented to Los Angeles production house Gartner for “Amazing grace,” a spot created with Young & Rubicam, New York, for AT&T Consumer Communications Service.
Wencel/Hess’ package design for Dean Foods’ Milk Chugs product earned the Chicago agency the Best of Show award in design.
DDB Needham in Los Angeles won the radio category’s Best of Show award for “Shoe repair,” a spot produced for Wells Fargo Bank.
McCann-Erickson’s offices combined to win 17 awards, more than any other agency. Other multiple winners were Y&R and BBDO, each with 16 awards, Leo Burnett with 15 and Campbell-Ewald with 13.
