The Clio Awards has selected Turkel Schwartz & Partners to produce a print and direct mail campaign for its 2001 festival.

Billings for the assignment are less than $1 million.

The four-day event in May 2001 will be held in South Beach near the Miami agency’s headquarters. The awards show has usually been staged in New York, but festival organizers said the Florida venue will significantly boost attendance.

“[TS&P] not only demonstrated an understanding of Clio’s unique heritage, but also the special attraction that South Beach will have for our worldwide creative audience,” said Andrew Jaffe, executive director of the Clio Awards.

The Clio Awards are owned by Adweek Magazines.
