NEW YORK – Global production company Clear Channel Entertainment has been selected to produce the E*Trade halftime show at Super Bowl XXXVI in New Orleans. The announcement was made Friday by the NFL, whose championship game will be played on Feb. 3 2002 at the Louisiana Superdome.

The NFL says it anticipates a worldwide audience of more than 800 million for the game, which will be broadcast on Fox.

This is the third successive year that E*Trade will be hosting the halftime show.
