Brian Delaney last week was appointed president of Clarke & Co. by chairman and chief executive officer Terry Clarke.
Delaney, an executive vice president who joined the public relations firm in 1985 after 14 years as an aide to U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy, will continue as point man on the shop’s public affairs and crisis communications units.
“Brian’s nearly three decades of experience in strategic communication has prepared him to head up Clarke & Co. and take the lead role in directing the future of our rather unique firm,” Clarke said.
