Atlanta-based Cingular Wireless has put its Hispanic account in review, the company confirmed Friday. The client spent $10 million on Hispanic ads in 2002, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus, and sources said that will rise to $15 million next year. The incumbent, Omnicom’s Dieste Harmel & Partners in Dallas, will defend, said sources. RFPs, issued last week to Hispanic shops nationwide, are due Nov. 17. A decision is expected in March. Omnicom’s BBDO in Atlanta and New York handles general-market work.
