NEW YORK — German consumer products marketer Henkel has chosen UK-based Tempus Group’s CIA Medianetwork to handle its $7 million media account in Switzerland.

This is the seventh market in which CIA will handle media planning and buying for Henkel’s various household, industrial and cosmetics brands, a CIA spokesman said. Over the past four years, CIA has won media duties for Henkel in Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal and The Netherlands.

In competing for the Swiss media account, CIA beat out Carat, OMD, and the incumbent M&M, a local Swiss media shop.
