Chrysler, ‘Men’s Health’ Are Fashion Tandem

DETROIT DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler brand is partnering with Men’s Health magazine for a fashion-focused promotion in Milan, Italy.

The second annual “Style Studio Milano” is a two-day fashion summit this week. It offers consumers a private showing of the fall men’s collections. Designers participating this year include Giorgio Armani.

Fashion photography from the event will be featured in the participating Men’s Health international editions’ fall style guides. The magazine’s 22 international editions in 32 countries reach 15 million readers.

Cross-promotional marketing also includes an advertorial section called “Innovation and Inspiration.” The three-part series will focus on Chrysler design and will give a behind-the-scenes look at the designers and teams that have brought different vehicles to life. It will run in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, South Africa, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The insert includes a sweepstakes. Prizes include a Chrysler PT Cruiser, a $10,000 wardrobe provided by one of the participating designers and a trip to the 2004 “Style Studio” event in Milan.
