CHICAGO The Chicago White Sox will meet once more with three finalists for the team’s $2 million advertising account before making a decision in mid-October, a team representative said.

Finalists in the pitch are incumbent Hoffman York and Two by Four, both independents, and Omnicom’s BBDO, all in Chicago, the team rep said. Dates for final presentations have not yet been set.

Cut were Chicago independents Magnani, Romani Brothers and Tom, Dick & Harry. More than 30 shops had submitted credentials to the team.
