This year’s Mother’s Day campaign from FTD will feature Chicago designer Tracy Porter, a company representative said.

Porter’s floral designs have been touted on The Oprah Winfrey Show and other TV shows. She will appear in print ads for the Downers Grove, Ill.-based florist that are set to run in April issues of Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, GQ and other national publications.

The ads, being completed by lead FTD agency DDB Chicago, ties into the agency’s ongoing “Be a Hero” TV campaign, the representative said.

FTD’s Valentine’s Day ads target men and feature a leggy brunette holding the FTD signature “Forever Yours” bouquet.
