CHICAGO The Chicago Cubs have awarded their $1 million advertising account to Interpublic Group’s Foote Cone & Belding without a review, according to the agency.

The shop’s Chicago office will handle all aspects of advertising for the National League team. A campaign is expected before the Major League Baseball season begins this spring.

“FCB will be a great addition to our roster,” said John F. McDonough, senior vice president of marketing and broadcasting for the Cubs, in a statement.
