Centrillo Adds COO Role to Grey Duties

NEW YORK Steve Centrillo, evp, managing partner of Grey Worldwide’s darkGrey unit, is taking on the additional title as COO of Grey Worldwide in Atlanta, the agency said.

Centrillo, 46, continues to report to Grey North America CEO Steve Blamer, who praised the Atlanta leadership team of Grey Global Group Atlanta president Joel Babbit and Grey Worldwide Atlanta president Mark Goldman on work for clients such as Southern Company, Coca-Cola, Georgia Power, Crowne Plaza, Georgia-Pacific, WTA, Premiere Technologies and National Service Industries.

Centrillo’s appointment means he will also join Grey’s North America management committee, the agency said.

In a statement, Blamer said, “I consider Steve Centrillo to be one of the brightest, most capable account people I’ve come across. I’m particularly proud of the work he has done on behalf of our BellSouth, Unisys and Nokia clients.”

Centrillo, who divides his time between the Atlanta and New York offices, will continue to oversee the Atlanta-based BellSouth business as well as help Grey’s integration efforts.
