After a nationwide review of about 20 agencies, e-commerce company CyberCash has awarded its estimated $3 million account to Katsin/Loeb Advertising in San Francisco.
The previous shop was Donino White & Partners, Atlanta, which handled print and broadcast ads.
The Reston, Va.-based client wants its new agency to broaden the company’s brand appeal among merchants and consumers and help position it for new Internet ventures, said agency officials.
CyberCash, which provides a service to conduct secure financial transactions over the Internet, is considered a prized account because it “is the head of the e-food chain,” said agency president Daniel Katsin.
Ken Perez, the company’s senior vice president of marketing, lauded the shop for being “eager to explore new arenas.”
