Kerry Casey, who last year stepped down as executive creative director at Carmichael Lynch for a reduced role at the shop, has jumped to crosstown shop Periscope, which he praised as “independent and pugnacious.”

Casey will become a creative director and report to the Minneapolis-based Periscope’s executive creative director Mark Haumersen on Nov. 1. His hire brings the number of creative directors to three, joining Charlie Callahan and Brien Spanier.

“I respect the hell out of the guy’s talent and what he’s been doing for Carmichael,” Haumersen said.
