ATLANTA Cartoon Network said it has teamed with DC Comics, Hostess and KidsWB to launch a Web site promoting the “Create Your Own Superhero” sweepstakes.
The site, www.createyourownsuperhero.com, designed by WB Online Entertainment in Burbank, Calif., and DC Comics Creative Services in New York, allows visitors to electronically produce their own superhero and enter the contest. The grand prizewinner will be awarded a trip to New York for a tour of the DC Comics headquarters and an appearance in a comic strip created by the company, said David Hyde, director of publicity for DC Comics.
