SAN FRANCISCO Citing workload concerns, Carmichael Lynch has pulled out of the review for Western Wireless’ estimated $15 million creative and media account, according to client and agency representatives.

The Minneapolis shop is involved in other reviews. It is contending for Jim Beam’s $30 million account and is one of two finalists for A.G. Edwards’ $20 million business.

Agencies still in contention for Western Wireless are: Publicis Groupe’s Publicis in Mid America in Dallas, Interpublic Group’s Temerlin McClain in Irving, Texas, and independent Hoffman/Lewis in San Francisco.
