BOSTON Carat Interactive said it has acquired Freestyle Interactive. Aegis Group’s Carat Interactive, based here, did not reveal terms of the deal for Freestyle, an independent agency in San Francisco.

Freestyle employs about 30 people and has worked for brands including Microsoft and Showtime. That name will now cease to exist and Freestyle will be fused into Carat Interactive’s existing S.F. operations.

Toby Gabriner and Karim Sanjabi, respectively president,COO and CEO of Freestyle, now join Carat Interactive.
