Campbell-Ewald Ad vertising plans to establish offices in Europe and Asia while continuing to rely on its Interpublic Group connections for worldwide reach.

“We’re not attempting to create the fifth global division of Interpublic,” said Tony Hopp, chairman and CEO of the Warren, Mich., shop. The new offices will initially focus on expanding advertising and marketing communications for longtime client ACDelco, an automotive-parts sup plier whose parent is General Motors’ Service Parts Operations. An outpost in Frankfurt, Germany, is expected to be open by next month, with a Hong Kong operation set for early 2002.

Hopp said Europe and Asia/Pacific are key areas for the client, which has expanded into 20 countries during the last eight years.
