The California Department of Health Services is expected to select finalists this week in the review for its three-year, $28 million effort to promote healthy eating, sources said. Agencies that submitted proposals include Omnicom’s GMMB in Los Angeles; independents Glass/ McClure, Runyon Saltzman & Einhorn and Mering & Associates, all in Sacramento, Calif.; and independent Brown-Miller Communications in Martinez, Calif.
