Carmichael Lynch Spong has hired Kendra Calhoun as a partner and chair of the public relation shop’s new creative healthcare industry practice. Prior to joining the firm, which is a division of Interpublic Group’s Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis, Calhoun was vice president of corporate communications for Allina Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis. Prior to that, she was executive director of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association, a 1,500-member trade organization where she led strategic planning initiatives and developed legislative strategy.
