Mike Cafferata has resigned as principal and creative director of Sturm Rosenberg Cafferata here, prompting a name change and executive search at the shop.
The healthcare specialty agency last week was renamed Sturm Rosenberg King, with the name of principal and operations director Donna King added to the door.
Cafferata “had a different philosophy” about the agency’s direction and left “to pursue other interests,” said Robert Rosenberg, principal and director of corporate development at the agency.
Cafferata, who had been with SRC and its predecessor, The Sturm Communications Group, for about six years, could not be reached for comment.
The newly christened Sturm Rosenberg King is now looking for a new creative director, with the help of consultant The Sandy Wade Co.
