CHICAGO Cramer-Krasselt has been tapped by ACH Foods to handle its Spice Islands line of spices following a review, the agency said.

The independent Milwaukee shop bested WPP Group’s JWT and indie Schafer Condon Carter, both in Chicago, and Barefoot Advertising of Cincinnati, C-K said.

Spending was not disclosed. In 2004, ACH spent $6 million on measured media, according to Nielsen Monitor-Plus. The company’s previous agency could not immediately be determined.

Associated British Foods, ACH’s parent, bought the Spice Brothers brand, previously part of Tone Brothers, through a deal with the Burns Philip Group in Australia one year ago.
