CHICAGO BVK mocks other types of advertising in an attempt to sell the power of radio in a new campaign for Milwaukee Area Radio Stations.

The Milwaukee agency’s campaign, airing on radio stations in southeastern Wisconsin, features fictitious clients selling outrageous products and services. In one spot, a health guru promotes his new gravy weight-loss diets. The ad concludes by directing listeners to his Web site, which ultimately leads to the MARS Internet venue.

“Radio is a great medium for advertisers yet it’s usually created in a way that makes consumers cringe,” said Jeff Ericksen, creative director and copywriter at BVK, in a statement.
