Business by Day, Party by Night: Watch the Brandweek Ballroom’s Transformation

A time-lapse of how the ad world goes from work to play

PALM SPRINGS, Calif.—Day 1 of Brandweek 2019 lasted 17 hours, from morning wellness activities starting at 6 a.m. to the Brand Genius afterparty, which didn’t wind down until after 11 p.m.

Much of the day’s panels and talks took place in the main ballroom of the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa. This meant flipping the room from hosting daytime sessions to the evening’s Brand Genius Gala.

In honor of our hardworking team on the ground at Brandweek, we’ve created this time-lapse as the event’s main space is transformed from business to party.


And the time-lapse below shows a second transformation from daytime discussions to the the first-ever Constellation Ball which closed out Brandweek on Wednesday night.
