The world of social media can be an odd and disturbing place, and an unexplained rise in cyberbullying of French children born in 2010 has prompted Burger King to act.
The meme, which has surfaced on TikTok and Twitter, has appeared as the children within the age range begin to attend secondary school.
It has been derided by France’s Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer who described the harassment campaign as “completely stupid and against our values.”

The Parents Association of France has also issued a warning about the attack: “While many children do not use the platforms, for those who do, it is clear that their mental and psychological health is in real danger,” it said in a statement.
