NEW YORK McCann Erickson in New York has won creative and media planning duties for Budget Rent A Car, besting a number of unnamed agencies.

The Parsippany, N.J.- based rental car company chose the IPG shop based in part for its work for sister-company Avis, which has worked with the shop since 1999.
