NEW YORK Anheuser-Busch Cos. has signed a deal making Budweiser the official international beer sponsor of the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. Financial terms were not revealed.

The deal allows Anheuser-Busch the rights to use the 2008 Olympic Games logo for promotional purposes in China, the U.S. and 28 other countries, according to the St. Louis-based brewer. It also extends Budweiser’s sponsorship of the China Olympic Team through 2008. The St. Louis-based company said it would use the official logo on packaging, sales promotions, branded merchandise and other marketing programs.
