CHICAGO Jim Beam Brands Worldwide has named Beth Bronner senior vice president of marketing, effective Sept. 29, company officials said.

Bronner will manage marketing, advertising, public relations and consumer promotion for the company’s spirit brands, including Jim Beam bourbon, DeKuyper cordials and the company’s portfolio of super-premium labels. She will report to Thomas J. Flocco, chief operating officer, at the Deerfield, Ill.-based distiller. Bronner replaces Thomas Hernquist, who left the company in April.

The appointment comes just weeks after Jim Beam executives awarded their $20 million advertising account to BBDO, Chicago, following a review.
