Bromley Reorganizes Media Operations

DALLAS Publicis Groupe’s Bromley Communications has named Chuck Nguyen to lead its media planning department as director of investment, the agency said.

The promotion to the newly created position comes amid changes in the media department of the San Antonio-based agency. In January, the shop separated itself from Tapestry, which launched in October 2001 and consisted of the media arms of Bromley and Lapiz in Chicago, and the Hispanic media units of Starcom and MediaVest. Though Tapestry is based in Chicago, Bromley’s team worked from San Antonio.

The new Bromley group, called Interlink, now operates as a separate profit-and-loss center from Tapestry. Heading the media and research unit is vice president, managing director Jessica Pantanini, to whom Nguyen reports.

Nguyen previously managed Bromley’s Procter & Gamble Hispanic broadcast account as AOR supervisor.

Pantanini said Nguyen “has got an incredible, intuitive, strategic negotiation mind, and he is very passionate about the investment side of the business.” She said he “looks at it from all angles, almost taking the investor type of approach to negotiation.”
