DALLAS Publicis Groupe’s Bromley Communications has named Chuck Nguyen to lead its media planning department as director of investment, the agency said.

The promotion to the newly created position comes amid changes in the media department of the San Antonio-based agency. In January, the shop separated itself from Tapestry, which launched in October 2001 and consisted of the media arms of Bromley and Lapiz in Chicago, and the Hispanic media units of Starcom and MediaVest. Though Tapestry is based in Chicago, Bromley’s team worked from San Antonio.
