For Christmas this year, Boots, the Walgreens (WBA)-owned British high-street health and beauty retailer, will introduce a new form of buying. Within its festive campaign that aims to celebrate the joy of the occasion, a shoppable TV channel is ready to sell the gifts that consumers want.

“Bags of Joy,” created by The Pharm, the WPP partnership team dedicated to WBA, is an integrated campaign that aims to celebrate gifting friends and family. This comes a year after the retailer chose not to release a Christmas-themed campaign during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
