Dentsu to Take Stake in DoubleClick Japan

Tokyo-based Dentsu said it will acquire about 1 percent of DoubleClick Japan after issuing 2,000 new shares to the agency on Feb. 11. Dentsu will receive preferential access to DoubleClick Japan, an affiliate of New York-based online ad-services company DoubleClick.

Q2 Profit up 22% for P&G

Procter & Gamble’s fiscal second-quarter profit climbed 22 percent to $1.8 billion, or $1.30 a share, boosted by the acquisition of Wella hair-care products and strong sales of over-the-counter flu medications, the Cincinnati company said last week.
