Brent Poer has rejoined Publicis Groupe’s MediaVest USA as svp, managing director of the shop’s Los Angeles operations, effective immediately, the agency said today. He replaces Tom Szczepanski, who is leaving the agency.
Most recently Poer, 41, has been General Manager of theWB.com in Los Angeles, where he oversaw the launch and all operational aspects of the interactive entertainment property.
Poer, 41 will report to Bill Tucker, CEO, MediaVest USA with dotted-line reporting responsibilities to Pam Zucker evp, marketplace ignition and Brian Terkelsen, evp, Connectivetissue.
The shop’s L.A. office clients include Comcast Entertainment, Mattel and Public Storage.

Poer had been with MediaVest prior to joining theWB.com as a senior executive within the shop’s Connectivetissue unit. Before that, he was cable net Lifetime where he led a department charged with assembling integrated marketing programs for clients such as Procter & Gamble.
