CHICAGO Miller Brewing has hired former Leo Burnett president Bob Brennan as director of marketing services, a brewery representative said.

The job puts him in charge of all media buying and planning, interactive and event marketing.

Miller spends about $270 million a year on domestic advertising, done mainly via Ogilvy & Mather and Young & Rubicam, both units of WPP Group.

Brennan takes over from Steve Buerger, who left Miller in December for a job with Time Warner in New York, the Miller rep said.
