LOS ANGELES Independent Borders Perrin Norrander has named Craig Rowley president.

Rowley replaces ex-CEO Michael O’Rourke, who left the agency earlier this month, and Jack Peterson, former president, who left for Sandstrom Design. Terry Schneider will act as chairman and creative director at the shop.

Rowley, 43, comes to the Portland, Ore., agency from Interpublic Group’s Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis, where he worked for the last 10 years, rising to director of account management and overseeing a department of 55 staffers.
