MINNEAPOLIS – After five years at the helm of Bozell Minneapolis, Ron Benza, 40, is going west to head McCann-Erickson’s San Francisco office as executive vp/general manager.
Benza, who starts his new job July 20, replaces Jack Tormey, 63, whose planned retirement originated the search for a new gm about a year ago.
‘It’s a bigger office and a very important one in the McCann network,’ Benza said. ‘And it’s a great agency with great clients.’
As evp/general manager of Bozell Minneapolis, Benza ran an office with about $55 million in billings.
